About twelve minutes from Draper Town Center. Take I-15 North to Exit 294A (7200 South), head east to State Street, turn left, and we're two-thirds of a mile up on the left in the Murray Park Plaza. From Corner Canyon or the Point of the Mountain it's closer to 16 or 17 minutes, and SunCrest is about 23.
Is there parking?
Yes, free, right in front of the shop. No garage, no meters, no hunting.
Can I take TRAX from Draper?
Yes. The Blue Line runs from Draper Town Center and Kimballs Lane straight to Fashion Place West (6400 S), about 15 minutes. From the station, walk east on Winchester Street to State Street and south a quarter mile. It's under a mile, about 15 to 20 minutes on foot, or a quick rideshare.
There are shops closer to Draper. Why drive to Murray?
Mostly for the Japanese work. Koi, dragons, hannya and full sleeves are what Carlos is known for, and people come from across the valley for it. Beyond that it's the reviews, the free consultation where the artist draws your piece with you, and parking you don't have to think about.

Yes, Monday and Wednesday through Saturday, 10 to 7, first come first served, with a $100 minimum. Small and medium pieces are usually done the same day. If you want something custom or large, book a free consultation so the artist can draw it up first.
